Survey Programmer / Developer

Do you enjoy variety and find yourself easily bored when asked to complete the same type of work day in, day out?

Are you looking for a role where you can broaden your skillset, with the freedom to develop in a wider variety of technologies, rather than just specialising in one or two?

Do you thrive on using your technical expertise to create solutions to complex problems?

If the answer is yes, then we have the perfect job for you!

The role

Working alongside our Data Processing and Survey Scripting team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing and managing the technical elements of the company's more complex projects.

This may involve tasks such as building integrated systems to link multiple elements of a single project, or implementing complicated routing to satisfy a client's requirements within a particular survey. Due to the varied nature of our research, no two days will be the same!

The person

The ideal person will be somebody who is proactive and can "think outside the box" to create a bespoke solution to meet a project's individual requirements. This may involve combining Askia survey scripting and SQL database design with VB or C# programming and an element of web design.

You'll need to thrive under the pressures of multi-tasking, be willing to take it upon yourself to learn new skills as and when required, and be capable of working both independently and as part of a project team.

If this sounds like the challenge you've been waiting for, apply today!
