Associate Director

Swift Research are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Associate Director to work alongside our Head of Insight to support the growth of the business as we embark on an exciting period of strategic change.

You are:
  • Action oriented. Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively to produce quality outputs in line with strategic objectives.
  • Passionate about research. With a comprehensive understanding of market research, qualitative and quantitative methodologies, ideally gained through 8+ years in hands-on research roles involving end to end client care, storytelling, analysis and research delivery.
  • Comfortable working in conjunction with the strategic implementation team with responsibility for assisting with delivering strategic objectives and on-boarding the research team.
  • A solid researcher looking for the next step. On top of current research techniques, trends, tools, and methods. Good knowledge of a variety of research methods, including integrating quantitative and qualitative work and advanced analytics.
  • A facilitator of change within a constantly evolving environment. A dynamic individual seeking an opportunity to work with and build client relationships across a local, national and global platform.
  • A Problem Solver. You are detail oriented, you can analyse research data and drive actionable conclusions in order to solve research problems.
  • Efficient. Ability to act at pace and demonstrate flexibility with changing briefs and project parameters.
  • Driven. Drive business development, long term growth and improved profitability in line with the company strategy.
  • Ambitious, inquisitive and an outgoing team player who enjoys a varied programme of work and wants to be involved in the full research process.
You will:
  • Communicate. You understand the importance of keeping stakeholders updated on progress— your clients and project teams get clear updates throughout the research process.
  • Teach, mentor and support researchers in the pursuit of research excellence, providing direction, guidance and sharing knowledge.
  • Lead. Providing strong and effective leadership to a team of researchers dedicated to delivering comprehensive bespoke market research projects for our clients. With the ability to create an environment of trust, teamwork and empowerment leading to both team members and clients feeling respected and valued.
  • Be accountable. Effectively manage workloads, including delegating, supervising and mentoring members of the team.
  • Drive growth through upselling across all account groups.
  • Confidently challenge current ways of thinking to help implement new, efficient & innovative ways.
  • Be quality focused. You understand the importance of quality. You know how our clients define quality.

  • Salary of £39k - £45k, dependent on experience
