During the month of August, we asked the British public to tell us all about their 2015 holiday plans and over 1,300 people responded, with 81% telling us they would be taking a holiday this year. Now the sun has set on the summer holiday season, it's time to reveal the results.
The majority of respondents told us they go on holiday for "sun, sea and sand" and, unsurprisingly, August was by far the most popular month to travel.
However, the good news for all those currently suffering from the post-holiday blues is you no longer need to worry about the dreaded journeys, airports and travel delays - which you told us are the worst things about going on holiday.
