Nowhere is the power of sensory branding more apparent than on Main Street U.S.A in Disneyland.

The entrance to Walt's iconic park is set up like the start of a movie. From the iconic Mickey at the entrance, reminiscent of the start of the original Mickey cartoons, you go under the railway line and the lights dim like in a movie theatre where attraction posters act as trailers.

Since it was founded in 1985, Swift Research has grown from a small start-up set up by two friends, into a leading research agency in the sensory and fragrance sector, helping to shape the future of household products by providing insight to international corporations and global fragrance houses across Europe and beyond.

On Friday 24th November 2023, Swift Research are proud to announce they have become an employee-owned business after 38 years of private ownership.

As government restrictions are relaxed we are looking forward to welcoming you back to our research facilities in Wetherby and can't wait to share the next stage of development for our Sensory Centre.

Even with the largest sensory facility in the North of England, the unprecedented demand we saw last Autumn has led to further expansion which will see us double our number of sealed testing booths.

For an industry which thrives and relies on human interaction, it was initially hard to envisage a way back for face-to-face research once the coronavirus pandemic took hold across the globe.

But, like many out there, we adapted to the "new normal" and, as we're now preparing to exit lockdown for the third time, it feels very different to our initial re-opening last Summer. This time we've already overcome the challenges and raring to go again!
